1. Scope
This policy applies to Zayrio mobile applications, websites and connected services, including travel discovery, trips, plans, profiles, direct and group chat, verification, notifications and Zayrio Shop.
2. Information we process
Account and profile information
- Name, username, email address, mobile number, gender and date of birth when provided.
- Profile and cover photos, biography, interests, travel preferences, state and other profile fields.
- Authentication identifiers from Firebase or another sign-in provider and backend session information.
Travel and community content
- Trips, nearby plans, destinations, dates, purposes, images, galleries and participation activity.
- Follow relationships, reports, comments and other community interactions.
- Messages, attachments, shared locations and conversation metadata needed to deliver chat features, safety tools and message status.
Location and device information
- Approximate or precise location only when required by a feature and allowed through device permissions, or coordinates for a place you select manually.
- Device identifiers, app version, language, theme, operating system, notification token, IP address, logs, crash information and security events.
Verification and commerce
- Identity and liveness verification data may be processed by the verification provider when you initiate KYC.
- Orders, delivery details, payment status, refunds and transaction references. Full card or banking credentials are generally processed by the payment provider rather than stored by Zayrio.
3. How information is used
- Create and secure accounts, authenticate sessions and prevent abuse.
- Provide personalized discovery, maps, trips, plans, profiles, chat and notifications.
- Process uploads, verification, orders, support, reports and account recovery.
- Improve reliability, performance, accessibility and safety.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce Zayrio policies.
4. Sharing and service providers
Information may be shared with other users according to your profile and content visibility, with vendors that operate services on Zayrio's behalf, or when required for security or law. Providers may include cloud hosting and storage, Firebase services, maps and geocoding, image delivery, Socket.IO infrastructure, identity verification, payment and commerce partners, weather and destination-data providers, and AI-assisted content services. Each provider processes information under its own terms and applicable safeguards.
5. Public content and safety
Public profiles, trips, plans, galleries and other content can be seen, copied or shared by others. Do not publish sensitive personal data, identity documents, financial information, home addresses or live location unless a feature clearly requires it and you understand the audience.
6. Storage, security and retention
Zayrio uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, protected authentication tokens and access controls. No service can guarantee absolute security. Information is retained only as needed for the purposes above, legal requirements, dispute resolution, fraud prevention and backups. Some deleted content may remain temporarily in protected backups or records required by law.
7. Your choices and rights
- Review and update available profile information in the app.
- Control device permissions through system settings.
- Unfollow, block, report, leave conversations or adjust supported privacy controls.
- Request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
- Start account deletion through Settings → Account Actions. The app may provide a recovery period before permanent deletion.
8. Children
Zayrio is not intended for children who cannot legally consent to data processing in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided information without valid authorization, submit a privacy request through Zayrio's available in-app support or contact channel.
9. International processing
Service providers may process information in locations other than your own. Zayrio applies reasonable safeguards required by applicable law when information crosses borders.
10. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as services or laws change. The effective date above will be revised for material updates. Privacy or data-rights requests may be submitted through the support/contact option made available in the Zayrio app or official Zayrio website.
